Gary Olsen is our dedicated contracted entertainment management consultant. He is very active in the entertainment industry. He attends all the major trade shows and conferences related to the entertainment field, he is a member of the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), as well as a member of Pollstar and is a current Pollstar Pro account holder. These tools along with his personal relationships with many other venues and all the agencies across Canada and the USA allow him to procure the best entertainment at the best prices; as well as staying on top of current tours and routing opportunities.
 
Gary spent 10 years working for Great Canadian Casinos as Entertainment Director where he was responsible for over 50 million dollars in revenues and procurement.  His primary duty was to select and negotiate all aspects of booking entertainment, this included negotiating all terms and conditions of the contracts, artist fees and overseeing all the production management. This allowed him to develop lasting relationships with agents at agencies such as: William Morris Endeavors (WME), United Talent Agency (UTA), Creative Artist Agency (CAA), Agency for the Performing Arts (APA), International Creative Management (ICM).
 

Other duties as included creating and presenting the yearly entertainment budget for the River Rock Casino Resort Show Theatre and the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver Show Theatre, preparing P&L reports for all shows, maintaining the event calendar for both locations, and overseeing the box office and Ticketmaster operations. As Entertainment Director the Marketing Manager, Box Office Manager, and the Production Manager for both venues all reported to him.
 
Earlier in his career he spent time as the Manager of Entertainment Operations for Great Canadian Casinos he was responsible for obtaining and facilitating all aspects of the150 plus/year venue rentals for the River Rock Casino Resort Show Theatre as well as overseeing the 100 plus/year venue rentals at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. At this time, he was also responsible for coordinating all marketing and radio station presents packages for all shows.
